Customize to Learner
Research has shown that there are different
modes of learning styles. Fleming's VARK model
uses the following catagories: visual learners, auditory
learners, kinesthetic learners (or tactile), reading
and writing preference learners.
Visual Learners prefer to see information
Graphics and diagrams, overhead slides
Auditory students learn by hearing
lectures, audiotapes, conversation
Reading and writing learners benefit by
correspondence
Kinethetic or tactile learners are motivated by
activities, such as experiments and explorations
